永續生產綠色製造問題導向跨領域人才培育與獎助計畫 (click me!)

根據2021 年世界風險報告，前十大風險中有五項風險與環境及氣候變遷有直接相關，產業界則開始在考慮對環境負作用影響最小、資源利用率最高，使企業經濟效益和社會效益最佳化的綠色製造概念。因此，中興大學工學院教育部STEM計畫以 2050 零排碳、永續生產與綠色製造作為核心目標進行人才培育，結合中興大學工學院中土木、機械、環工、化工、材料五個學系及精密工程、生醫工程二個研究所，與智慧創意工程學士學位學程的教學能量，加強培育結合科學、科技、工程與數學四大領域專業知識並具全球視野的領導人才，深化STEM領域學習與研究之友善環境及支持系統，以問題導向學習法培養學生在研發、生產與製造的面向上回應永續企業報告(EGS)、綠色政綱及聯合國永續發展目標的競爭性實力。

We propose relevant mechanisms in terms of talents incubation, female support, overall operation, administrative support, and performance evaluation in facing the challenge of "2050 Net Zero, Sustainable Production and Green Manufacturing". Combining with the facilities/resources of the College of Engineering at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) and Corning Inc, LONG JOHN GROUP, HIWIN Technologies Corp, we're hoping to strengthen the professional talents in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and provide a friendly environment and support system for students and researchers. Our College of Engineering has multiple affiliated units and provides competitiveness support to the industry.

The content includes problem-based learning projects, field trips, advanced STEM courses, skill sets expansion, friendly study/working environment, support and empowerment of women and minorities in the STEM field. Furthermore, we would also take this opportunity to strengthen the cooperation among Corning Inc, LONG JOHN GROUP, HIWIN Technologies Corp and NCHU, etc.
