We were delighted to host Prof. Daniel Citterio from the Department of Applied Chemistry, Keio University, at our lab on Monday (20 July 2026). Prof. Citterio leads the Laboratory for Analytical Chemistry (Citterio-Hiruta Lab), well known for its work on chemical sensors, biosensors, and low-cost paper-based analytical devices. He was in Taiwan as the Session 1 speaker on the opening day of the 2026 International Conference/Annual Meeting of the Taiwan Nanomedicine Society & Asia Nano Forum Summit (16 July, Hsinchu), and was accompanied by Asst. Prof. Chong-You Chen of the Department of Applied Chemistry, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, who trained with Prof. Citterio at Keio.
Our students presented recent progress on continuous-flow manufacturing and downstream purification, including a live demonstration of our core annular liquid-liquid phase separator (CAPS). Thank you both for the visit and the inspiring discussion. We look forward to future exchanges!
